Raspberry Birthday cake

So, another project making another friends Birthday Cake. But, difference with this one, she doesn't really like cake, it was more for everyone else, so I decided to make something that was simple, but tasted good.



It was a lemon cake recipe, with a homemade lemon-Raspberry filling- torted. Buttercream frosting, and fresh raspberries on top. Yum!@

Record Player Cake

I offered to make a cake for my friend Roberts birthday. I decided to do something personal so I found out some information about him.
1) HE LOVES FLEETWOOD MAC
2) His favorite Flavor is Lemon
3) He likes anything out of the ordinary.

So what better than a record player?
The base (sheet pan) part of the cake was made with a lemon cake mix, and the top (record) was made with a white cake mix (easier for shaping, less crumby)
I used a buttercream frosting for the most of the cover, and lemon for the detail work...
And here is the final outcome!
